CORKSCREW TWIST
Defective appearance in a thrown or twisted silk thread or rayon yarn. It may be caused by uneven twist or uneven tension of individual singles or components. It may also occur if one of several singles to be twisted together attaches itself to an alien thread and becomes twisted around it.
